Community Guidelines

travel2gether is a place for travelers to share tips, find travel buddies and meet people who love exploring as much as you do. These few rules keep it friendly and safe for everyone. They apply to the forum, messages, profiles and anything else you share here.

Be kind

• Treat others the way you'd like to be treated, even when you disagree.
• No insults, harassment, threats or hate based on nationality, origin, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or anything else.
• Respect different cultures and ways of travelling. There's no wrong way to see the world.

Be honest

• Use your real self. No fake profiles, and don't pretend to be someone else.
• Share tips and experiences you actually believe in.
• No spam, no unsolicited advertising and no hidden promotion. If you're sharing something you earn from, say so.

Keep people safe

• Don't post anyone's private details: no addresses, phone numbers, passport or document photos, including your own.
• When meeting a travel buddy for the first time, meet in a public place and tell someone your plans.
• Never send money to people you've met here, and be careful with anyone who asks for it.
• No sexual content, and nothing involving minors.

Keep it about travel

• Post in the topic that fits, and keep threads on topic.
• Nothing illegal: no selling, no scams, no tips for breaking local laws or visa rules.
• Only share photos and texts you own or have permission to use.

If something's wrong

See something that breaks these rules, or someone made you feel unsafe? Write to us at hello@travel2gether.co with a link or screenshot. We read every message and keep your report confidential.

We may remove content that breaks these guidelines, and pause or close accounts that do it repeatedly or seriously. If you think we got it wrong, just reply and tell us. These guidelines sit alongside our Terms and Privacy policy.
